Top Football Referees to Meet for Camp in Slovenia
Europe's top football referees will gather for a camp in Slovenia ahead of the start of qualifications for the Euro 2012. Among those participating will be 2010 World Cup officials Howard Webb, Wolfgang Stark and Nicola Rizzoli.
The referees will gather in Ljubljana for a series of tests and lectures.
Along with the referees the camp will also be attended by officials who supervise their work. One of these will be former Italian referee Pierluigi Collina.
The referees will stay in Ljubljana from Monday to Wednesday, before leaving for the opening qualification matches for Euro 2012.
Slovenia will play its opening match in Maribor on Friday against Northern Ireland. The referee at the match will be Pavel Cristian Balaj from Romania.
