About NZS

The NZS.si is the official internet portal of the Football Association of Slovenia (NZS – Nogometna zveza Slovenije) - the governing body of football in Slovenia. In first place it is responsible for the national football teams including the A national Team which is currently participating in the qualifications for the FIFA World Cup 2010. You can find more about the team, the current competition and the all-time statistics in the first section of this English version of NZS.si. Slovenian club football consists of 5 levels. On top there’s Prva Liga, run by the Union of 1st Division Clubs, followed by the 2. SNL - Slovenian Second League run by NZS and two 3rd leagues run by the regional associations. NZS runs several other club competitions, namely National Cup – Hervis pokal Slovenije, Youth and Women Competitions. You can find more info and all current results/standings in Prva Liga, 2. The third section is dedicated to the ticketing information for international games held in Slovenia and the last one – Trigi shop – is our internet shop with official NZS merchandise.
