Head coach of the Slovenian national football team Matjaz Kek expects tough opposition in the qualifying Group C for the UEFA Euro 2012 in Poland and Ukraine.
One win and a draw out of three matches at the World Cup in South Africa propelled the Slovenian national football team to the 19th place in FIFA's latest world rankings, the highest ranking ever for Slovenia.
The NZS.si is the official internet portal of the Football Association of Slovenia (NZS – Nogometna zveza Slovenije) - the governing body of football in Slovenia. In first place it is responsible for the national football teams including the A national Team which is currently participating in the qualifications for the FIFA World Cup 2010.
